In urban environments, buildings and structures can generate irregular wind currentsthat may compromise the stability of aircraft. This poses ahigh risk due to the potential severity of an accident in theseareas. For these reasons, this paper introduces a risk-awarepath planning solution for Urban Air Mobility applications, including Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulationsthat predict atmospheric wind at urban environments. Thegenerated algorithm provides safe and efficient routes, avoidingflight through regions with significant turbulence. A practicalcase study was conducted to demonstrate the strong capabilitiesof the proposed solution SN 9798350357882 YR 2024 FD 2024-06-19 LK http://hdl.handle.net/11093/7639 UL http://hdl.handle.net/11093/7639 LA eng NO Agencia Estatal de Investigación | Ref.
