Galician paradiplomacy (1981-2021): a general description and ten final notes

Abstract

Introduction. In November 2021, the Regional Ministry (conselleira, in Galician) of the Environment, Territory and Housing participated in the 26th United Nations Conference on Climate Change in Glasgow, on behalf the Xunta de Galicia. This is a simple example that illustrates Galician paradiplomatic activity. Nowadays, such actions carried out by different members of the Galician government are relatively common.
